Employee recognition leads to employee satisfaction. That’s why our performance-based awards recognise the actions, behaviours, accomplishments, and performance of all full- and part-time employees at PayPal India.
Exceptional Talent Award
The Exceptional Talent Award recognises employees who:
- Excel on a project or at an event
- Introduce innovative approaches to increase productivity
- Find ways to improve cross-functional collaboration
Employees nominated for this award should display the highest level of judgement, innovative thinking, commitment, and passion to the job.
Cash prize awards are: Cosmic Kudos (INR 10,000), Blue Moon (INR 15,000), and Shining Star (INR 20,000). Awards are handed out semi-annually (January to June and July to December).
Reward Efforts Award
The Reward Efforts Award rewards employees for going above and beyond to accomplish routine tasks. It’s an on-the-spot “thank you” for taking on more work, stepping in for a colleague, working holidays, late nights, and weekends, and spending extended hours to get the job done.
Awards may include movie tickets, a weekend stay, mugs, T-shirts, caps, or gift vouchers (up to INR 4,000).
Project/Team Award
This award recognises the exceptional achievement of a team, including virtual, cross-functional, or special task force teams. All teams in IDC are eligible for the Project/Team Award.
Awards include team certificates, dinner with a member of the leadership team, trophies, and gift vouchers (up to INR 1,000 each). Awards are handed out semi-annually (January to June and July to December).
Special Award
Special Awards, in the form of cash, are given to employees who are passionate, dependable, enthusiastic, and show initiative. Employees who display an “I am PayPal” attitude and go above and beyond their day-to-day tasks to make a positive impact on the organisation are eligible. This is a monetary award that varies.
Other awards
In addition to performance-based awards, employees are eligible for the Organisational Priorities Award and Good Samaritan Awards.
Organisational Priorities Award
Organisational Priorities Award rewards employees for innovative thinking. All employees are eligible. Both monetary and non-monetary awards are handed out semi-annually (April to September and October to March).
Good Samaritan Awards
The Good Samaritan Awards, which recognise employees who are helpful and embody the spirit of volunteerism, include the Peer-to-Peer Award and the Community Service Award.
All employees are eligible. Monetary and non-monetary awards are handed out semi-annually (peer-to-peer) or monthly (community service).
