You’re enrolled in life cover at the start of your employment. This benefit doesn’t extend to covered family members.
Non-Dirigenti (employees and mid-level managers)
PayPal pays the entire cost for this cover.
- Life insurance: 3 times your gross annual salary
- Accidental death: 2 times your gross annual salary
Dirigenti (executives)
You pay 10% of the conventional salary of €13.944.
- Life insurance: 3 times your gross annual salary
- Accidental death: 5 times your gross annual salary

If you die
HR Hub will notify Marsh of your death. Marsh will start the claim process and coordinate payment with the beneficiaries you’ve designated.
Choosing your beneficiaries
Your hiring pack will contain a beneficiary form (page accessible within PayPal firewall) that you need to fill out, sign, and return. You may change your beneficiaries at any time but will need to fill out the beneficiary form each time and return it to HR Hub (page accessible within PayPal firewall) via webform ticket.
Cancelling your policy
Since there is no financial impact, we recommend you keep your policy. If you wish to cancel your policy, log a ticket with HR Hub (page accessible within PayPal firewall). Please note: Your cover will automatically stop at the end of your employment.
