What you need to know
PayPal offers all regular employees and their family members medical and dental cover through RESO insurance. You are automatically enrolled in the plan when joining PayPal. You can enrol family members anytime after your start date.
Eligible dependents
You can enroll your spouse or partner and children up to age 24 who aren't married and live at home or attend University.
Cost of cover
PayPal permanent employees: 100% company-paid, tax-free
Eligible dependents: 50% company paid (PayPal pays the premium in full, then deducts 50% from your salary on a monthly or one-time basis)

- Temporary disability examinations

Joining the Plan
You are automatically enrolled in this benefit after you join PayPal. There is no action required by you. HR Hub fills out the enrollment application and submits it to the insurer, RESO. Once your application has been processed, you will receive a membership plastic card at the reception desk, normally within 1 week.
Coverage during business and personal trips
- Business Trip: You are covered by the PayPal program TravelSafe. Learn more.
- Personal Trip: Standard RESO plan is only valid on the territory of Russian Federation; however RESO also provides international medical insurance at no cost to you. If you do not have an International Medical Certificate yet, please make a request in your RESO online account.
- International Medical Certificate covers emergency treatment that might be required due to a sudden illness or injury when you are temporarily travelling outside Russian Federation. Temporarily travelling means a trip of up to a maximum of 30 consecutive days starting from the date you leave Russian Federation and ending on the date you return to Russian Federation. There is no limit to the number of temporary trips outside Russian Federation that you may take each year. The international Medical Certificate will be valid for the whole period of the existing contract with RESO.
