Need help with childcare or adult care at the last minute? Bright Horizons Care Advantage Programme puts nannies, nurseries, and in-home care services at your fingertips. When primary care arrangements for your child or adult dependants are unavailable or break down, you have resources to help.
Available services
The following care services are available:
- Nurseries (for children ages 3 months to 5 years)
- Holiday clubs (for children ages 5 to 14 years)
- Nannies (for children up to 17 years old)
- In-home adult care (for relatives ages 18 years or older, including yourself)
Cost
PayPal will cover the cost of ten days of backup care per calendar year. Please note this benefit is not intended to subsidise regular childcare costs.
The benefit is considered taxable to you, at the following values:
- Centrebase (Nursery/Childminder): £116.87
- Play scheme: £83.79
- In-home: £212.78
How to join
To establish a backup care account, call a Bright Horizons Care Consultant at 0800 247 1101 (available 24/7), or visit the Bright Horizons website and follow these instructions:
- Go to the PayPal landing page.
- Scroll down to Reserve Back-Up Care, and click Use It.
- Enter your employee ID, and click continue.
- If you are on the eligibility file, your details will automatically populate.
- If you are not on the file, enter your last name and email address.
- If prompted enter employer password: care4you.
- A confirmation email will be sent to your email address.
- Read and agree to the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Follow instructions on the next screen to create your personal profile.
