What you need to know
Juggling work, family, and other personal responsibilities can leave you feeling stressed, exhausted, overwhelmed. We all need help from time to time. That’s why PayPal offers all employees access to crisis care resources whenever you need them.
If you’re experiencing an emergency, call 119 (ambulance) / 119 (fire) / 110 (police) or go to your nearest emergency room.
Confidential counseling with the Employee Assistance Program
Many employees are experiencing fear and anxiety around this public health crisis, and that’s understandable. If you ever want to talk to someone about your concerns, contact the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) though Optum. In addition to counseling services, the EAP offers self-help programs, interactive tools, and other resources to help with life’s challenges.
You and your family members can receive up to 10 confidential counseling sessions (virtually, by phone, or in-person) per issue per year — for free.
Sign up online (access code: PayPal). Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Help for victims of domestic violence
Domestic violence is abuse that occurs in a personal relationship to intimidate, isolate, dominate, or control another person. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is also available to provide confidential support and resources. You can also contact Employee Central for information about PayPal’s paid time off programs. You can use the time to get help to protect you and your children’s health, safety, or welfare.
Suicide prevention
If you’re in need of immediate help, call a national or state/territory-specific suicide prevention hotline.
