Basic coverage
Short-term disability
In the first 2 years of sickness, PayPal will continue to pay your salary as follows:
- 100% of salary in the first year of sickness
- 70% of salary in the second year of sickness
Long-term disability
- 70% of the pensionable salary
Note: Long-term disability insurance premiums are 100% paid by PayPal, unless your salary exceeds the maximum wage level of WGA-Hiaat (€ 71,628 in 2024), in which case both you and PayPal are each responsible for 50% contributions towards the cost.
