What you need to know
PayPal provides you with life and accidental death insurance at no cost to you. While the company pays the full cost of the premiums, you may be required to complete a health questionnaire by the insurer to confirm your eligibility. Employees are enrolled upon hiring and there is no waiting period. This benefit doesn’t extend to covered family members.
Life insurance
Life insurance pays your dependents or designated beneficiaries a benefit in the event of your death. The coverage is up to 24 times your monthly base salary with a minimum amount of GTQ 200,000 and a maximum of GTQ 1,000,000.
Accidental death
Should you die due to an accident, accidental death pays your dependents or designated beneficiaries an additional benefit of up to 24 times your monthly base salary with a minimum amount of GTQ 200,000 and a maximum of GTQ 1,000,000.
