What you need to know
Insurance is about protecting the people who are most important to you. It’s about having financial protection — taking care of your loved ones should you die. It’s about having peace of mind.
About Prévoyance
Prévoyance is the life insurance plan available to all employees of PayPal France SAS, PayPal SE, and PayPal SE EU. This is a mandatory plan for all employees. You cannot opt out from life insurance unless your employment ends (you must be insured throughout your employment).
Enrolling in the plan
You are automatically covered as soon as you start your employment with PayPal. All you need to do is send the Beneficiary Form directly to Generali if you wish to appoint someone as your beneficiary in case of your death. This is usually done at the start of your employment.
The company pays 50% of the premium for employee and dependant cover.
What the plan covers

- Married: 300% of annual salary
- An additional 50% of annual salary for each dependent child
