Your benefits and COVID-19

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

With information about COVID-19 changing rapidly and impacting daily life, PayPal wants you to take good care of yourself and your family. The impact of COVID-19 affects everyone differently, and you have support resources available to help you.

Medical care

Many people need to stay at home or are reluctant to go out to access healthcare. You have a range of resources to help you and your family stay in control of your health and wellbeing.

Schedule remote consultations. Bupa will fund telephone and video consultations with all Bupa-recognised consultants, as medically appropriate and technology is available. This service includes remote consultations with an accredited physiotherapist for muscle, bone, and joint conditions.

See a general practitioner (GP) from home, for free. Access expert advice any time through Bupa’s Digital GP services in partnership with Babylon. You can also use the AI-driven symptom checker to get information on a full range of conditions. Download the Babylon app and register with company code: PAYPMI.

Talk to a nurse 24/7. Call the Anytime HealthLine at 0345 609 0444 for general health and wellbeing advice.

Referrals extension. Any referral from a GP or consultant for an ongoing treatment is now valid for up to three months.

COVID-19 cash benefit

If you receive treatment for COVID-19, you will receive a Cash Benefit for the treatment you receive. The NHS coordinates all care and works with private hospitals to maximise capacity for care for people affected. This ensures the government can continuously monitor, assess, and manage the situation.

Dental care

Bupa dental practices are closed for routine treatment. Some practices are offering telephone support and advice to patients with urgent need, and they can direct you to the most appropriate support location if further care is needed. Find a practice.
