Short-term disability
You have short-term disability coverage that provides you with salary/income replacement according to statutory requirements, in the case of an illness or injury that prevents you from working for a certain period of time according to state regulations.
Employees are entitled to 18 days of paid sick leave per year, accrued at 1.5 days per month. Employees may also use sick days to care for close family members who are ill.
Long-term disability
If you’re unable to work due to an illness or injury for longer than the period covered by short-term disability, long-term disability coverage will replace up to 75% of your salary, at no cost to you for your first 3 years of employment. After 3 years, PayPal’s contribution will be 0.6% of your monthly base salary.
