What you need to know
What you pay per paycheck through pretax payroll deductions for medical coverage depends on which plan you choose, whether you cover dependents, and your annual base salary. For 2025, your per paycheck contribution is calculated using your annual base salary as of November 1, 2024. For new hires who started after November 1, 2024, your new hire annual base salary is used. Any salary changes during 2025 will not impact your per paycheck contribution for the remainder of 2025.

*Imputed income: The IRS states that the fair market value for domestic partner coverage is taxable to the employee. This means the full cost of individual coverage (for your domestic partner) would be added to your taxable income (imputed income). You will see domestic partner imputed income added to your earnings (to incur the tax liability) and then deducted from your gross pay.
