Optum: Support for your authentic self

During Pride Month, Optum is offering Pride365+ — resources for LGBTQ+ care and support that includes Out Care Health, toolkits, podcasts, articles, worksheets, and more for the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.

In addition, you always have access to Optum Live and Work Well for emotional and mental health support in person, online, or virtually, at no cost to you!

Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Receive up to ten confidential counseling sessions by phone or in person per issue, per year. A specialist can help you manage stress and anxiety, navigate relationship issues, and develop resilience. You also have access to self-help programs, interactive tools, and other resources to help deal with life’s challenges. Learn more about the EAP. This program is available globally.

Optum also offers dedicated EAP counselors for PayPal. Both of our counselors have experience serving LGBTQ+ individuals in their private practices and have received specialized training to address the unique needs of the LGBTQ+ community. Learn more about our dedicated EAP counselors and how to schedule a session.

Talkspace on-demand counseling: Access online therapy from anywhere through Talkspace. Message a licensed therapist 24/7 from your phone or desktop — safely and confidentially, with no appointment required. You can also schedule real-time video sessions as needed.

Optum EAP and Talkspace are available 24/7 at no cost to you! And Optum offers even more resources for you.
